The New Hampshire Philharmonic
The Rudolph Schiller Society

The Rudolph Schiller Society was formed to recognize those donors who have included the New Hampshire Philharmonic in their estate plans, either by making a planned gift or stating an intention to leave a bequest to the orchestra.

Rudolph Schiller, the Philharmonic's first Music Director, led the orchestra through decades of fine music-making from the orchestra's earliest days in 1905.

Endowed Chairs

Members of the Schiller Society and of the Mary Fife Coterie are invited to consider underwriting a principal chair in the orchestra. If you would like honor an individual or a cultural institution in this way, please contact the Philharmonic's Development Office.
The Mary Fife Coterie

The Mary Fife Coterie is that select group of patrons who, over a lifetime of giving, have made cumulative gifts of extraordinary generosity to the New Hampshire Philharmonic. These donors are instrumental in helping us advance the orchestra's mission, providing not only significant financial support, but also a strong example for others to follow.

It was Mary Fife who gave impulse to the formation of a group that would bring fine orchestral music to New Hampshire, leading to the first meeting of the New Hampshire Philharmonic Society, in February 1895.

Endowment
The long-term assets of the New Hampshire Philharmonic are independently managed by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, whose trustees make available to the Philharmonic an appropriate level of funding.
