Violinist Laurel Gagnon performs Ravel's sensational Tzigane at Spring Pops. Ms. Gagnon was one of two winners of the eighth annual youth concerto competition of the New Hampshire Philharmonic.
Music Director Anthony Princiotti leads the orchestra and soloists.
A major element of the concert will be a unique performance of Prokofiev's Cinderella suite. Thousands of schoolchildren from across New Hampshire vie to have their illustrations appear in a unique work of photochoreography. Our fifth year with this format from Drawn to the Music - always a stunner.
Renowned radio host Laura Knoy brings her wonderful presence and vocal gifts to the stage of the Philharmonic. Host of the award-winning New Hampshire Public Radio program "The Exchange", Ms. Knoy will offer lively commentary from the stage, and will narrate the Drawn to Music presentation of Cinderella.
