The 104th (2008-2009)
Music Director Anthony Princiotti has selected a rich and varied program for the New Hampshire Philharmonic’s 104th season. The season includes classic works by audience favorites Mozart, Beethoven and Handel, monumental works by Dvorak and Rimksy-Korsakov, compelling music of Ravel and Bartok, and a spotlight on the wonderful tunes of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Soloists this year include a Paris-based pianist returning to our stage after a triumphant solo five years ago, a renowned area flutist and long-time collaborator with the Music Director, a talented regional youth choir, Laura Knoy of NHPR and a regional media personality.

Fall ConcertOct 25, 2008 (8 pm) - Palace Theatre, Manchester
The New Hampshire Philharmonic opens its hundred and fourth season with the music of Mozart. Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G major is brought to life by renowned flutist Albert Brouwer, the principal flutist of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and a long-time collaborator of the Music Director. The second half of the concert features the great Symphony #6 of Anton Dvorak. Dvorak has long been a favorite of Philharmonic audiences, and the sixth symphony is one of Dvorak’s most popular works. The concert, led by Music Director Anthony Princiotti, takes place on October 25 at the Palace Theatre Manchester.
