The pieces selected will respond to artwork currently on display at the Currier. Docents will lead tours of highlighted works prior to the recital.

The Philharmonic Chamber Players consist of the principal players of the New Hampshire Philharmonic; these fine musicians present recitals throughout the season.
Today’s Ensemble
The Philharmonic Chamber Players appear today as a wind quintet.
Susan Jackson, of Chelmsford, Mass., holds the Marian MacDowell Chair as Principal Flute with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Ms. Jackson earned her bachelors and masters degrees in performance from New England Conservatory where she studied with Fenwick Smith and Claude Monteux. Ms. Jackson is a music educator by day.
Amy Dinsmore, of Medford, Mass., holds the Eleazar Wheelock Chair as Principal Oboe with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Ms. Dinsmore received degrees from Smith College and from the Boston Conservatory. She has studied with Peter Bloom and Louis Speyer. She works during the day in Administration & Customer Support with Global Organics, Ltd. (a wholesale supplier of organic baking ingredients). Ms. Dinsmore plays a Buffet "Green Line" oboe.
Pat Cunningham, of Auburn NH, holds the Paul Harris Chair as Principal Clarinet of the the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Ms. Cunningham received her bachelors in music from the University of Northern Iowa and her masters in music from Boston University. Her primary teachers were Jack Graham and Ethan Sloane. She is a music educator in the public school system in Merrimack NH. Ms. Cunningham plays a Buffet R-13 clarinet.
Stephanie Busby, of Dracut, Mass., holds the Mary Bowman Coit Chair as Principal Bassoon with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Ms. Busby received her BM and MM from Boston University. Her primary instrument teachers were Matthew Ruggiero and Richard Plaster. Formative musical coaches include Marlene Buckley and Leon Grande. In her day job she is a freelance musician/teacher and dog walker. Ms. Busby plays a Fox 201 bassoon.
Brian Gardell, of Berwick ME, holds the Hammy Bissel Chair as Principal French Horn with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Mr. Gardell received his bachelor's of music education from the Boston Conservatory of Music. He furthered his studies with Charles Kavalovski, former principal horn with the Boston Symphony. Mr. Gardell is much in demand as a free-lance musician throughout New England, and is on the faculty of the Concord Community Music School.
